Locomotive of О series was one of the most popular freight locomotive types used at Russian Railways before the revolution. Locomotive Ов 6640 was manufactured at Putilov plant in Saint Petersburg in 1902. It arrived at the museum from Kalinin depot in 1999 where it had been used as a stage property

Artillery mount had been taking part in Soviet-Finnish War placing fire on Finnish fortifications at Karelian Isthmus. In 1941 these mounts were used for deterrence of Finnish forces during Hanko peninsula defense.
